Product Description
The Sound Sensor Module is a compact microphone-based sensor designed to detect sound intensity and noise levels. It features an onboard electret microphone and LM393 comparator, providing both analog and digital outputs for easy integration with microcontrollers.
The adjustable sensitivity allows the module to detect sounds such as claps, knocks, voice, and other noise events, making it ideal for clap switches, sound-activated lighting, smart home automation, robotics, security systems, and IoT projects.
Compatible with Arduino, ESP32, ESP8266, Raspberry Pi (with ADC for analog output), STM32, and other popular development boards.
Note: This module detects sound intensity and sound events. It is not a calibrated sound level meter and cannot measure accurate decibel (dB) values.
