The Gesture Control Robot is a beginner-friendly DIY educational robotics kit that lets you build and drive a 4-wheel robot car using nothing but hand gestures. A wrist-worn gesture sensor unit (built around an accelerometer/gyroscope module) wirelessly transmits your hand movements to the robot's onboard Arduino Nano controller, which translates tilts and motions into forward, reverse, left and right commands in real time.
Beyond gesture control, the robot also features onboard obstacle-detection so it can sense and steer around objects in its path, making it a great hands-on introduction to embedded electronics, wireless communication, and autonomous robotics logic. Every part of the build - soldering-free assembly, wiring, and Arduino programming - is designed to teach real STEM skills step by step.
